Could you also offer a version that can draw an off line chart based on my account balance as I see on my account history in the profit column ? And that auto update with every new trade. . Basicly exactly the same type of chart as in the “Detailed Report” in html, that you can ask by “save as detailed report”. But one that I can use trend lines and indicators on.
Hello Guy, I suppose you do not need an offline chart for that, but rather a regular indicator.

Hello Mony, the Flex Renko is a fine concept, which can create nice and reasonable charts (and irrational as well). I prefer it. I coded also another Renko mod – the Hybrid Renko (Hybrid Logik Renko in its original implementation), with the time and volume traps. This chart I found very tricky and I would be very careful with recommending it – as I did not find any explanation how it could give an edge in trading.
So I am not planning to implement blindly any exotic chart curently; unless there is a group of traders which seriously use such a chart in trading.

Hello Cal, you may add indicators to offline charts in general. Unless the indicator is limited to discrete timeframes you can use it.
Consolidation areas on Renko are (IMHO) suppressed, you should use other chart type if consolidation is important for your trading signal.

If I had a notification about a new quote (i.e. the tick) from other symbols, I could think about such integration, though it would make the indicator less intuitive and foolproof. But there is not such notification available, and running a fast nonstop loop through quotes is rather a heavy solution.

I am testing the Omnia bar, and currently have it loaded in eight different pairs with the corresponding offline charts containing the omnia remote script. However the terminal gets very slow. is this normal?
It is normal, however the power drain comes from the refresh mechanism of offline charts rather than from the chart generator itself. Keep the offline charts short (like the default 1000 candles) and reduce the indicators deployed to that offline chart. If you fail to ease it, search this site for DELAY_OMNIA to reduce the power drain.

I just noticed that this is included in mt4 terminal, is there any difference in the 2 indicators? Can the license be used with the indicator in mt4 if i use a different brokers terminal?
I noticed that when i created 2 charts , 1-chart 2-m & 1-chart 7-m that data is only up-dating in the m-7 chart, this is in the 1-hr chart tray so my question can data be updated in the 2 charts at the same time if yes can you explain how to do this? If this is not possible then why don`t you add this capabillity in the next version / upgrade as this makes real trading with multiple TF charts un-practicle.
I am not sure if it is included in the MT4 installation. However the license count is meat for the entire computer (Windows user account), independent on the MT4 accounts or brokers.
A single indicator can drive only a single chart (though you may open it multiple times), but you may add multiple indicators to the feed chart, as many as you need. All do update their offline charts.
Regaurding the multiple charts issue above…If i open 2 charts of the same pair say eur-usd & install ovo on each chart [ the charts are seperate charts ] could i then creat a secend chart with a different time frame so each chart will update in real time? I don`t want to do this without asking 1st. as i locked up a terminal doing the same thing but with a different renko charts ea/indicator.
I do have to say it is working very well so far, it is better than anything i have ever used, no lock up`s data is always streamed to the chart, no problem with indicators either default MT4 or Custom indicators either it`s a real nice package.
You may experiment without fear, the charts generators are quite resistant to user behaviour, and they solve most of the issues themselves.
Are the buffers available for the various renko types so a ea could be developed for it?
Not sure what buffers you mean, there are no buffers in those indicators. Their output is a chart file.
Milan how about adding the ability to use standard time frames along with ofline charts 2-m 3-m etc.you could include a seperate renko just for default mt4 time frames/ standard time frames 1-hr. etc.

I answered my own question, yes you can install OmniBar on 2 different charts with 2 different time frame of the same pair. I don`t know if they will both up-date the Price Quotes / Tick Data in real time i wont know until the markets open today 7-2-2017 i will post the answer to this here after market open.
You may drop the OmniaBar indicator multiple times on your regular chart. And you may change the timeframe of your feed chart whenever you wish, it has no effect on the OmniaBar indicator.

Excellent package it works very well, i`m glad i bought it, no regrets & would recommend…A EA can be coded using OmniaBar it just takes a experienced coder, a average coder wont be able to as i asked this to a few coders all declined, but i did find 1 & very happy with the work.
Does the licence key have to be entered on every copy of OmniaBar installed on a chart -or- is it installed on 1 chart only?
The key is needed only once on the particular computer (Windows User). Then the computer gets identified as licensed and the key is not required again, unless you intentionally reset it.
I contacted you a few times about a issue im having but did not get a response so i will post here.
I have a purchased copy of OmniaBar with a key the problem is when i tried to enter it in the indicator using the MT4 Terminal on my VPS it would not take the key, i keep getting License valed until August 18th. but i just attached it to a chart on a MT4 Terminal on my Home PC & it took the key the 1st. time.
Could the problem be that the MT4 Terminal on my VPS is registered under a different name & email address -But- the VPS account is under my real name & email, [ this is all the same information that i used to purchase OmniaBar ]
The one on my PC does not have a account name just a account number, i don`t know the email address i used for this Terminal.
The OS are also different, but both are Windows.
PS. The VPS Terminal does not come with OmniaBar so i had to download & install a copy from this site.
I answered my own question again…Yes, the MT4 Terminal must be using your real personal information = Name = Email etc. then it will register correctly.
I did try to un-register the MT4 Terminal on my home PC but that did not work,everything went according to plan but it still did not un-register the indicator on my home PC MT4 Terminal.
Hello William, I do not think there is any connection between the email you entered into the MT4 on the VPS and the license you entered for the OmniaBar.
I checked the http logs, and I found that you probably tried to enter the code by keyboard many times, but all the entries contained a typo (different one each time). So please copy/paste the code next time to be successful with the first attempt.
My PC wont copy/paste, but it has been resolved & i think it does make a difference because as soon as i installed another MT4 Terminal with the correct name / email etc. it registered right away but deactivating my home PC took longer for the system to reconize it, actually a few hours…The incorrect key entry on the VPS was due to needing the – in between the group of numbers/letters but it did occure more often & i think it is what you see in the logs when i tried to enter it in the old terminal [ the 1 that did not ] have the correct personal information…All is well now & thank`s for such a great indicator, it`s the best i have ever used as it does not lock up the terminal & functions according to it`s design, unlike any i have used before going back 15-years or more. I stopped trying to use renko charts because of this as well as the MT4 period converter which does not work either.

Hello, it seems that MT4 is running out of support from MetaQuotes. The MT4 installer also seems to have been removed from their web and now only allow to install MT5. Any intention of passing your indicators offline to MT5?

Hello Rafael, I have been answering this query quite often. So far there is no competitive possibility to create custom charts in MT5. Despite they promised support for custom charts more than a year ago, there is no clear message about it from MQ currently. I have to wait, whether they implement it. Then I would start porting the indicators.
Hi. I purchased the Omnia Bar and I’ve had to continuously switch back to candles because your renkos freezes my MT4 constantly.
With my strategy I can use it on candles and on renkos but prefer renkos because it’s more accurate. I can have 20 candle charts open with my strategy’s template on them all at once and it NEVER freezes…EVER. But if I put the same template on your renkos it freezes BAD to the point where I miss trades and/or get into a trade much later waiting on my MT4 to unfreeze.
Even switching from one chart to another takes 30+ seconds with your renkos.
I’ve done everything. Reinstalled MT4, deleted history files from pairs I no longer trade, decreased the max history bars in the options tab to the bare minimum and STILL have issues.
I’m at my wits end at this point and have no other choice but to contact you all.
I used to use A-Z Invest Renkos and switched to yours because my trading teacher said that your renkos would provide little to no lag because it uses less processing power than A-Z invest, but now I’m just having the same issues over and over again and it’s extremely frustrating.
and just a FYI I have an Alienware computer that has enough processing speed to handle just about anything. Again, candles works fine. Your renkos don’t. What should I do to fix this issue because at this point I feel as though I just wasted my money on this
Hello KeAmber, I am responsible for building the Renko chart and for the corresponding OmniaBar processor power consumption. I have no influence on power drain originating from your indicators placed on the offline chart. The offline chart uses different refresh mechanism regardless of the generator, which requires either using light indicators, or refactoring the indicators for use in the offline chart. If you feel like wasting your money after 5 months after the purchase, I am sorry for that.
How long it takes me to use the renkos matters not. Especially since I purchased them because I was told your processing speed was better. What settings in the OmniaBar can I adjust to reduce the processing speed of the renkos?

What counts is number of wine installations, so running all MT4 instances within a single Wine consumes a single “user account” from the license.

Hello Christian, if you leave the ID entry empty, the indicator supplies the first unused ID above 60. I.e., for 5 indicators, they assign 61, 62, 63, 64 and 65. They remember their settings, they won’t change after MT4 restart or the feed chart timeframe change.

Hello Christian, for different symbols there can be the same timeframe ID, while for the particular symbol every generator must have unique. If it sets 61, then the ID was still available. Can you see any defect in the chart?

Hello Agness, if you want to access offline chart from the other chart, you may address the offline chart by its timeframe (ID) with functions like iHigh(), iClose() etc. They work if the offline chart is open (i.e. they fail if it is closed).
ok. If I use renko indicator on an offline chart. I attached my EA on the same chart. Then High[], Open[], Close[], Low[] will refer to the renko bars?
EA can still open orders from offline chart.

You should not use the RenkoBar indicator on an offline chart, chaining the offline charts could cause delays and decreases reliability.
However, you may attach the EA to the offline chart, and then the Open[] array refers to the current offline chart.

Hello Agnes, by definition the Renko bricks are drawn at fixed levels, their prices have artificial open and close at those levels, so their open and close are accurate by the definition (if this was what you asked).
The RAM usage is rather high when the indicator starts, but it decreases over the time significantly. It is due to the architecture of MT4, which duplicates chart data for each indicator (e.g. accessing the M1 chart from 10 indicators causes 10 additional copies of the entire M1 chart data). The chart copies are released by timeout after several minutes. When the MT4 crashes after reaching the RAM limit (displaying around 2 GB in the Task Manager), then decreasing the generic chart length would help (MT4 options, the number of candles in the chart, it can be reduced down to 5000).
So the answer to the 4th question is yes (unless you open the same chart multiple times), however the RAM usage decreases over time.

Hello PREMCHANDRA, it is not related to OmniaBar but rather to MT4 and system resources, it may happen to any indicator using the timer. According to MQ it happens on VPS. I do not know the reason nor the cure myself.

The license is for three Windows accounts. So if you use it in multiple Windows profiles on a single computer, it would consume multiple installations.

Based on the information provided in the video if I wanted to create something like an ATR based mean renko using the last 14 days (traditional ATR) utilizing Omnia Autorange that reflected a Daily Chart I would utilize the following:
Timeframe for range calculation: 1440 (a day minutes)
Result multiplier: 0.5
Chart length – 20160 (14 days in minutes)
Does this look accurate to you.
Hello Rodney, If you write about the OmniaAutoRange, it calculates average bar height over the particular period rather than ATR. Otherwise your settings is legit.

Perhaps, I am not sure, as MT5 chart implementation is based on a different model, which is very unfriendly to non-linear timeframes.

Hi, I just bought a new computer, if omnia bar is attached to a windows account then can I sign out from my old computer and sign in on the new one so I can use the same licence key? This means can I just switch computers with one licence key but on one computer, the new one.
You may release the complete license assignment in the selfcare page, so you never lose the license with the retired computer. However, if your license count is not saturated yet, then you may just fill in the same license.
Hi Milan, can I use Omnia to open/create Mean and Point chart on 2 displays at the same time?
Well, you may display any chart inside the MT4 terminal application window. So when you stretch the MT4 application window over the extended desktop, you may see charts on two displays, if this was the question.
Optionally you may install and start the additional MT4 terminal with the same account and run it on the other display.
If the question is about opening offline chart multiple times, you may open the additional window by shift+click on the M61(-like) button.
Hi Milan, I´ve purchased the omnia bar suite and use it on multiple VPS. From the beginning it sometimes stopped to print new blocks on the chart. First I thought that could have been a problem from my side (server capacity or something like that). But now I use it on very fast servers, no other charts open (just one) also all settings in MT4 stripped down, to have the best/fastest performance and so on. It still quits printing the Point-O-Blocks (the same goes for Renkos and other charting possibilities the omnia bar indicator includes). As I use it on completely different servers, different charts and different brokers, I can´t think of anything that is wrong from my side. Do you have any ideas how this problem can be solved?

After reinstalling Windows, I can’t start the Flexi Bar indicator.When entering the key, it writes indicator cannot create chart try to set other offline id in the indicator input and optionally restart mt4.What should I do about it?

Hi Milan! I have a question concerning using my EA to call data from another Omnia Bar offline chart and using that data to take trades on a separate Omnia bar chart which the EA is running on. I hope that makes sense, but if not let me explain further.
Usually in an EA’s code you would write -iCustom(NULL,0,”name of indicator”,……)etc – and if i wanted to get information from an indicator running on a higher timeframe I would use something like PERIOD_H4 instead of 0. However since renko bars do have timeframes the above would be impossible. How then can I call the Offline chart created by the Omnia Bar indicator to access this information? Is this at all possible? And if so…can you explain how I can achieve this. Thanks in advance

Well, the timeframe parameter in iCustom used to work with any integer, did anything change lately? – I did not check. And you need to keep open the offline chart, which you intend to read values of.
Hello im a customer about a year ego purchased the flwxi bars and havent used it a while but now in mid january i down loaded the exe file used it but didnt use my licence key … and when the trial expired i used my product licence key and its not ecsepting it please help me in this

I do not have an upgrade programme, however I usually upgrade the license for the differential cost, just keep pushing on me with the request 🙂 I may overlook such requests.

Just wondering – Is there any way to fix renko chart initial start dates (apart from increasing the initial bars figure in omnia bar input properties and making it subject to the max bars/history bars setting in MT4)?
For example – say I can begin a chart with 3 or 6 months start time (before the current day) or can add a date from which to calculate the chart from (e.g. 01.02.2021 – calculate from February to August (now))
Is this possible?

It is difficult to help, I did not write the custom indicator to give you a statement. ‘Stack overflow’ means, that some routine did many recursive calls.

I am able to get the software to perfectly do things like rangebars and renko, but with Flexible time bars, I am unable to get it to do H8??? It shows much smaller bars on the offline chart that look like renko even though it says H8. For H8 period type in 28800, or use H8 in the OmniaRemote. Try to set Sess switch to handle the weekend gaps differently.

Thanks. It worked. I was able to get my 8hour chart to work. If I wanted to be able to check multiple different symbols on this chart, I would have to set up the same offline chart for each symbol or is there a easier way?
I can not get my 20 second offline chart ,, when i type S20 ( 20 second ) it came out M20 . Or this indicator dont have second only M1 that was the smallest TF we have .please help .Thanks
the box in the feed chart accepts only numbers, so 20 is fine. S20 would work with OmniaRemote.

I have changed the ID many times, restarted the terminal, but the error does not disappear.

No, there is not. I am afraid it would not make any advantage, you would lose the time axis.
