What are additional features of Ovo offline generators?
- the generator is an indicator rather than a script or EA, which makes it more comfortable for deployment

Hello, it seems that MT4 is running out of support from MetaQuotes. The MT4 installer also seems to have been removed from their web and now only allow to install MT5. Any intention of passing your indicators offline to MT5?

Hello Rafael, I have been answering this query quite often. So far there is no competitive possibility to create custom charts in MT5. Despite they promised support for custom charts more than a year ago, there is no clear message about it from MQ currently. I have to wait, whether they implement it. Then I would start porting the indicators.
Hi. I purchased the Omnia Bar and I’ve had to continuously switch back to candles because your renkos freezes my MT4 constantly.
With my strategy I can use it on candles and on renkos but prefer renkos because it’s more accurate. I can have 20 candle charts open with my strategy’s template on them all at once and it NEVER freezes…EVER. But if I put the same template on your renkos it freezes BAD to the point where I miss trades and/or get into a trade much later waiting on my MT4 to unfreeze.
Even switching from one chart to another takes 30+ seconds with your renkos.
I’ve done everything. Reinstalled MT4, deleted history files from pairs I no longer trade, decreased the max history bars in the options tab to the bare minimum and STILL have issues.
I’m at my wits end at this point and have no other choice but to contact you all.
I used to use A-Z Invest Renkos and switched to yours because my trading teacher said that your renkos would provide little to no lag because it uses less processing power than A-Z invest, but now I’m just having the same issues over and over again and it’s extremely frustrating.
and just a FYI I have an Alienware computer that has enough processing speed to handle just about anything. Again, candles works fine. Your renkos don’t. What should I do to fix this issue because at this point I feel as though I just wasted my money on this
Hello KeAmber, I am responsible for building the Renko chart and for the corresponding OmniaBar processor power consumption. I have no influence on power drain originating from your indicators placed on the offline chart. The offline chart uses different refresh mechanism regardless of the generator, which requires either using light indicators, or refactoring the indicators for use in the offline chart. If you feel like wasting your money after 5 months after the purchase, I am sorry for that.
How long it takes me to use the renkos matters not. Especially since I purchased them because I was told your processing speed was better. What settings in the OmniaBar can I adjust to reduce the processing speed of the renkos?

Hello Billy, there are no discounts in general. I may sort out similar requests, but when I am short on time I prefer the functional requests first. Your first request caught me when I was two weeks out of regular internet connection.
I understand – if I buy the Renko Bar now that will have been $130 i have spent with you which is more than the omnia bar solution costs, so i would ask that if i buy the renko bar now will you upgrade me to the omnia bar solution?

What counts is number of wine installations, so running all MT4 instances within a single Wine consumes a single “user account” from the license.

I remember there was a version of OmniaBar which set an unique chart ID automatically. It seems to me the latest version does not. Or have I missed something?
What is the best way to open a bunch of offline charts with different symbols without setting the chart ID manually on each?
Hello Christian, if you leave the ID entry empty, the indicator supplies the first unused ID above 60. I.e., for 5 indicators, they assign 61, 62, 63, 64 and 65. They remember their settings, they won’t change after MT4 restart or the feed chart timeframe change.

But this does not work anymore. I have M61 offline chart open already. I want another offline chart with another symbol and other ID. If I leave ID empty, then it opens M61 everytime.

Hello Christian, for different symbols there can be the same timeframe ID, while for the particular symbol every generator must have unique. If it sets 61, then the ID was still available. Can you see any defect in the chart?

hi. Do you have a code snippet on how to access the renko bars from an EA? i.e. how to access last Bar high/low(wick), open and close?
I am familiar with using EA that uses iCustom() functions for external indicators. But your renko is something I am not familiar with.

Hello Agness, if you want to access offline chart from the other chart, you may address the offline chart by its timeframe (ID) with functions like iHigh(), iClose() etc. They work if the offline chart is open (i.e. they fail if it is closed).
ok. If I use renko indicator on an offline chart. I attached my EA on the same chart. Then High[], Open[], Close[], Low[] will refer to the renko bars?
EA can still open orders from offline chart.

You should not use the RenkoBar indicator on an offline chart, chaining the offline charts could cause delays and decreases reliability.
However, you may attach the EA to the offline chart, and then the Open[] array refers to the current offline chart.

How much CPU/Ram extra is required for renko indicators?
if I have 4 charts open will the Ram usage be 4 times? I know of indicators where the Ram usage creeps up over time.

Hello Agnes, by definition the Renko bricks are drawn at fixed levels, their prices have artificial open and close at those levels, so their open and close are accurate by the definition (if this was what you asked).
The RAM usage is rather high when the indicator starts, but it decreases over the time significantly. It is due to the architecture of MT4, which duplicates chart data for each indicator (e.g. accessing the M1 chart from 10 indicators causes 10 additional copies of the entire M1 chart data). The chart copies are released by timeout after several minutes. When the MT4 crashes after reaching the RAM limit (displaying around 2 GB in the Task Manager), then decreasing the generic chart length would help (MT4 options, the number of candles in the chart, it can be reduced down to 5000).
So the answer to the 4th question is yes (unless you open the same chart multiple times), however the RAM usage decreases over time.

Perhaps sometimes in the future, but I do not like the idea to print candles, which do not overlay the original price interval.

Hello PREMCHANDRA, it is not related to OmniaBar but rather to MT4 and system resources, it may happen to any indicator using the timer. According to MQ it happens on VPS. I do not know the reason nor the cure myself.
