May I make a suggestion concerning Renko/Mean Renko charts…
A Renko chart is a 0% chart meaning 0% overlap on bricks.
A Mean Renko chart is a 50% chart meaning 50% overlap on bricks – inserting 1 extra brick per Renko chart (i.e. same as a Renko chart but with 1 extra bar in between each Renko bar).
Someone in Forex Factory, a long while ago, had similar stuff but took it one step further. Basically, he let you define the percent overlap from 0% to like 99%. In fact, his preference was 12.5% charts (inserting 7 bricks per Renko). This smoothed out indicators and gave the Renko charts a more pleasing look (like a Mean Renko does for a Renko). A Mean Renko would simply be a 50% chart.
You may want to look at it and see if you like it or are interested.
